Fuel Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove fuel pump relay from main fuse panel Fig. 6.
2. Connector an ohmmeter between terminals 85 and 86 on the face of relay. Resistance should be 85 ohms.
3. Connect a jumper wire from battery positive to relay terminal 86 and one from terminal 85 to battery negative. When ground connection is made, relay should click and there should be continuity between relay terminals 87 and 30.
4. If either condition is not met, replace relay.
