System Precheck

Fig. 3 VIP test connector:

1. Check fuel tank for adequate supply.
2. Check for fuel leakage at all fittings and lines.
3. Connect jumper wire to circuit 9-25 black/red at VIP test connector Fig. 3.
4. Turn ignition switch to RUN. Do not start vehicle.
5. Connect jumper to ground and fuel pump should run.
a. If fuel pump runs, perform Fuel Pump Flow/Pressure Check
b. If fuel pump does not run, perform Fuel Pump Electrical Check.
