Two Piston Caliper
Front
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from brake pad wear sensor.
4. Remove spring retaining clip from caliper housing.
5. Remove piston housing bolts and the housing from anchor bracket.
6. Disconnect brake hose from caliper. Plug line to prevent leakage and contamination.
7. Remove caliper anchor bracket attaching bolts and the bracket, if necessary.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque caliper attaching bolts to 37-48 ft. lbs., brake hose to 12-13 ft. lbs. and anchor bracket attaching bolts to 15-18 ft. lbs.
b. Following completion of installation, perform front brake bleeding procedures.
Rear
1. Apply brake pedal several times to relieve system pressure.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
4. Disconnect electrical connector from brake pad wear sensor.
5. Disconnect brake line from flex hose and flex hose from housing. Plug lines to prevent leakage and contamination.
6. Disconnect parking brake cable from retaining bracket.
7. Remove caliper assembly attaching bolts and the caliper.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque caliper attaching bolts to 37-48 ft. lbs.
b. Following completion of installation, perform rear brake bleeding procedures.
