AIR CONDITIONING-SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HOSES-REPLACEMENT ON VEHICLES BUILT AFTER 5/31/88

ISSUE: The air conditioning suction and discharge hoses used on cars built after 5/31/88 contain a new liner material. These new hoses have a smaller outside diameter, are a little stiffer and therefore are routed slightly different than previous hoses.

ACTION: If replacement of either hose is required, use the current service A/C refrigerant hoses. Re-route the hoses in the same manner as on cars built before 5/31/88.
