ISSUE
Some 2008 Escape Hybrid and Mariner Hybrid vehicles built before 11/26/2007 may exhibit a slow fuel fill concern.
ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

NOTE
THE NEW FUEL TANK HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH AN IMPROVED VAPOR VALVE SET TO IMPROVE SLOW FUEL FILL. WHEN INSTALLING THE NEW FUEL TANK A REDESIGNED FUEL DELIVERY MODULE IS REQUIRED.
1. Follow Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 310-01B for fuel tank removal.
2. Install updated fuel delivery module into the updated replacement fuel tank. Follow WSM, Section 310-01B.
3. Install updated fuel tank following WSM, Section 310-01B.
