EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER VENT SOLENOID







Removal and Installation
1. Remove evaporative emission (EVAP) canister assembly.
2. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube from the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
4. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid from the EVAP carbon canister.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply clean engine oil to the EVAP canister vent solenoid O-ring prior to installation.
- Carry out the evaporative emission system leak test. Testing and Inspection
- Carry out the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle.
