Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the A/C ambient air temperature sensor bolt.







3. Remove the Cold Engine Lockout (CELO) switch.







4. Disconnect the A/C ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector and the outside air temperature sensor electrical connector and remove from vehicle.







5. Remove the A/C ambient air temperature sensor from the A/C ambient air temperature sensor bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the A/C ambient air temperature sensor bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb-in).
