Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments






NOTE: Ensure the speed control actuator cable is not twisted or kinked. Replace the speed control actuator cable if necessary. Do not pull excessively on the speed control actuator cable during adjustments.

1. Confirm that the accelerator cable is properly adjusted.
2. Turn the adjusting nut until the throttle is in the fully closed position and the adjusting nut is against the accelerator cable bracket.
3. Turn the adjusting nut one-half to one turn counter clockwise.







4. Tighten the speed control actuator cable locknut to 8-11 N.m (71-97 Lb-In) .
5. Test the speed control system for proper operation.
