1 Detach cover (2) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
Installation: Check sealing ring on cover (2) and replace if necessary.
2 Pull out circuit 50 starter relay (N10/1kM) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

3 Open cap (6) on prefuse box at the front (F32).
4 Mount connection line (4) for compression recorder (01) on a positive terminal in prefuse box at the front (F32).
5 Attach compression recorder (01) with adapter line (11) from the electrical connection kit to slot "87" (see arrow) of the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
The slot allocations are also on the starter circuit 50 relay (N10/1kM).
The electrical feed line must not be in inserted slot 87a. A fuse will blow otherwise.
