REPLACE OIL DIPSTICK; REPLACE CRANKCASE VENTILATION PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE IF NECESSARY

This Service Campaign has been initiated because DAG has determined that due to increased crankcase pressure the oil dipstick may be pushed out of the guide tube. To prevent customer complaints concerning rough engine idle dealers will replace the oil dipstick on all affected vehicles during the next workshop visit. In addition, Dealers will also replace the crankcase ventilation pressure regulator valve on certain affected vehicles.

Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

^ Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired.

^ Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the procedure steps exactly as described.

Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.

Approximately 130 vehicles are affected.
