GF00.20-P-2010TX Display Service Scope, Function
- MODEL 219.3

The service code is shown in the multifunction display (A1p13). This includes the time taken to perform the service and is classified from A to H. The code is in ascending order. The codes are:
- Code A: service scope of up to 1 h.
- Code B: service scope of up to 2 h.
- Code H: service scope of up to 8 h.

The evaluation of all the important data takes place in the central gateway control unit (N93) via the maintenance computer module.

The service scope can be determined in 3 different ways:
- The instrument cluster (A1) can be used to read out the workshop code e.g. "4G3P", and this can be entered into the Workshop Information System (WIS). WIS decodes this workshop code and determines the service scope and the additional work to be performed on the vehicle. These are then preselected in the WIS. Then the vehicle-specific service sheet can be printed out.
- The workshop code can be read out and noted via the instrument cluster (A1). The stored service items can be used to look these up in the service booklet and then they can be allocated.
- The service operation can use STAR DIAGNOSIS to access the data from ASSYST PLUS. ASSYST PLUS is switched to the diagnosis state for this purpose.

Essentially, the following actions are possible:
- Output of the operations to be performed for this service. A list of all the operations to be performed at this service date is generated.
- Configuration of the maintenance items. Maintenance items can be configured by activating or deactivating them. Here, the corresponding weighting of all the other data for the item (e.g. maintenance intervals, overrun limit, weighting) must be assigned plausible values in the maintenance item by STAR DIAGNOSIS.
- Confirmation of services performed. And identifier is set for the corresponding maintenance items indicating that this service has been performed.
- Reversing an unintentional confirmation of maintenance items. The resetting of a maintenance item (maintenance confirmed) is possible once within one service period.
- Reading out the service memory. This provides information about maintenance that has already been performed.
- If the central gateway control unit (N93) is replaced, all relevant data is saved by the STAR DIAGNOSIS and then transferred to the new central gateway control unit (N93).
