Programming the preselect time
The preselect time can be entered and selected with the aid of the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) and the right multifunction steering wheel button group (S111) via the multifunction CAN display in the instrument cluster (A1).
Function requirements
- Circuit 15C OFF
- Preselection time activated in instrument cluster (A1): Yellow LED in STH switch (N72s12) illuminates and indicates activation.
- Tank content > 19 %
The preselect times currently stored in the instrument cluster (A1) are suppressed if the heater has been manually switched on in the meantime.
Function
1 The preselection time has been reached, the yellow LED goes off and the instrument cluster (A1) sends the "Stationary heating ON" signal to the STH control unit (A6n1) via the CAN-B (CAN display B).
2 The STH control unit (A6n1) starts the "Heat or Ventilate" inquiry in the AAC control and operating unit (N22) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) via CAN-B.
3 The AAC control and operating unit (N22) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) is activated and compares the current interior temperature to the preset temperature value.
4.1 Interior temperature < than the preset temperature value ("Heat" request):
- the AAC control and operating unit (N22) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) transmits the "Heat" signal to the STH control unit (A6n1) via CAN-B.
4.2 Interior temperature > than the preset temperature value ("Stationary ventilation" request):
- the AAC control and operating unit (N22) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) transmits the "Ventilate" signal to the STH control unit (A6n1) via CAN-B.
The red LED in the STH switch (N72s12) indicates stationary heating and the blue LED indicates stationary ventilation.
