Removing And Installing Alternator Ribbed V-belt Pulley







1 Remove alternator
2 Unscrew collar nut (1)

NOTE: In order to retain the alternator shaft (2), multipoint head cap nut or Alien nut with a reversible ratchet.

Collar nut to ribbed V-belt pulley - 80 N.m

3 Remove ribbed V-belt pulley (3)

NOTE: When replacing alternators after mileages in excess of 100 000 km (60,000 mi), replace the ribbed V-belt pulley at the same time.

4 Install in the reverse order
