Sensor rotor adaptation

Test 1: After replacing the starter ring gear or the engine mounts
Test 2: After replacing component L5 (Crankshaft position sensor)

1 After replacing the starter ring gear or the engine mounts

Test sequence
- Perform major learning process.

The following conditions must be met for the sensor rotor adaptation
- Coolant temperature > 80°C
- Air conditioning: OFF
- Drive vehicle on the road or on the chassis dynamometer in gear 3 or in selector lever position 3.
- Increase engine speed to - and initiate deceleration phase until engine speed is < rpm.
- Repeat step as often as necessary until the entire duration of one or several deceleration phases is s.

2 After replacing component L5 (Crankshaft position sensor)

Test sequence
- Perform major learning process.
