H. Final Assembly and Function Test

1. Program the telephone per S-SI-82.70/136, Time port Portable Telephone Programming.

2. Verify proper telephone and voice recognition operation per the following checklist:

Telephone

^ Handset dialing is functioning

^ Head unit dialing is functioning

^ Handset incoming/outgoing call audio is clear

^ Handsfree incoming/outgoing audio is clear

^ Automatic memory download is functioning (It may be necessary to store a test number in the telephone handset for this feature to operate. After automatic download, stored numbers should be available for dialing from the head unit.)

^ Verify that the telephone mode is available in the ICM

^ Verify the operation of the steering wheel controls

Voice Recognition

^ Verify the PTT lever control of the VRM

^ Verify that voice instructions are functioning at a high recognition rate

^ Verify the VRM control of the telephone and radio
