Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Detach return spring (94).
2. Loosen adjusting screw (89).
3. Unscrew self-locking stud bolt (93) on idler lever(91).
4. Pull rubber handle (75a) off hand brake lever (7S).
5. Remove, install shift lever gate (111).
6. Remove, install rear center console (115).
7. Remove contact switch for hand brake indicator lamp.
8. Unscrew two bolts (72) and pull out hand brake lever (75) forwards.

Installation
9 Install in reverse order.
- Replace self-locking bolt (93).
- Tighten bolt of hand brake lever to center console to: 20 Nm
10 Adjust parking brake.
