^ Remove the following inner trunk panels (refer to WIS AR68.30-P-4600M): right panel, left panel, front panel (covering fuel tank) and rear shelf panel.

^ Remove interior trunk lamps and disconnect from harness.

^ Pull harness through insulation openings. Remove insulation (A).

5. Remove PSE pump (refer to WIS AR80.20-P-2700M), position pump to allow access to ORVR vent line (do not disconnect vacuum lines or electrical connectors).

DANGER!
Fuel or fuel vapors may be present, risk of explosion and/or injury:

^ Wear protective clothing and eye protection.

^ NO open flames/sparks, heat emitting equipment in work area.

^ Refer also to WIS AS47.00-Z-0001-01A for additional safety information.

6. Remove pressure relief valve, ORVR vent line and overflow lines as an assembly:

^ Loosen clamps (arrows, Figure 2) securing fuel overflow hose (D) and vent hose (C) to overflow pipe (A) and vent pipe (B).

^ Remove nuts (arrows, Figure 3) securing pressure relief valve (A) to mounting bracket (B).

^ Remove bolt (D) securing vent and overflow pipes to rear shelf.

^ Separate pressure relief valve (A) from mounting bracket (B).

^ Unclip ORVR vent pipe (arrows, Figure 4) from 3 mounting clips (A, Figure 4).

Note:
Right mounting clip not shown.

^ Separate overflow/vent pipes (NB, Figure 2) from hoses (C/D, Figure 2) and remove pressure relief valve, vent line and ORVR line as an assembly.

7. Remove bolt (arrow, Figure 5) securing pressure relief valve bracket (A) to rear shelf and remove bracket (A).

8. Drill mounting hole for pressure relief valve bracket (A, Figure 6) using new pressure relief valve bracket as a template:

^ Position new pressure relief valve bracket (A) on rear shelf.

^ Install mounting bolt (arrow) in existing hole (do not tighten).

^ Using a right angle drill with a 3 mm bit, drill a new mounting hole into rear shelf using the existing hole (B) in the bracket as a guide.

^ Remove bolt (arrow), remove bracket (A).

Note:
The pressure relief valve bracket with attached pressure relief valve will be installed in step 13.

9. Remove clamp (arrow, Figure 7), remove vent hose (A) from filler neck fitting (B).

10. Loosen clamp (arrow, Figure 8), remove overflow hose (A) from overflow pipe (B).

11. Install new vent and overflow hoses through opening in rear shelf.

^ Connect new vent hose (A, Figure 7) to fitting on filler neck (B, Figure 7), secure with hose clamp (arrow, Figure 7).

^ Connect new overflow hose (A, Figure 8) to overflow pipe (B, Figure 8), secure with hose clamp (arrow, Figure 8).

12. Install new pressure relief valve (B, Figure 9) to new pressure relief bracket (A) and secure with bolts (arrows).

13. Install new pressure relief valve (with bracket) to rear hat shelf:

^ Slide tab on new pressure relief valve bracket into slot on rear shelf.

^ Secure with two mounting bolts (arrows, Figure 10).

14. Connect corrugated vent hose (B, Figure 11) to vent hose (D) and secure with clamp (arrow).

15. Connect corrugated overflow hose (A, Figure 11) to overflow hose (C) and secure with clamp (arrow).
