MODEL 215/220 AAC BLOWER REGULATOR





Included is a sample copy of a letter which owners of the effected vehicles will receive in the near future.

This campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that the regulator of the cabin air blower motor could develop an electrical short, which could result in damage to the vehicle.





The AAC blower regulator (A32n1, Figure 1) must be replaced.





Effective Serial Number Range

Procedure

1. Remove cover below instrument panel on right hand side.
Model 215: see WIS AR68.10-P-1520N
Model 220: see WIS AR68.10-P-1520M





2. Disconnect blower connector (Figure 2).

3. Remove screws (1 Figure 2).

4. Then remove cover (2, Figure 2).





5. Disconnect blower regulator connector (3, Figure 3).

6. Remove screws (4, Figure 3) and remove blower regulator.





7. See Figure 4, for proper identification of replacement blower regulator.

NOTE:
Please note that the replacement blower regulator must have the following identifiers:

Blue dot (arrow A, Figure 4) and ID number 74385 (arrow B, Figure 4).

8. Install new blower regulator in reverse order and reinstall cover assembly.

9. Perform a function test prior to returning vehicle back to the client.
