Rear Monitor

Location
Between front seats in rear of vehicle

Purpose
TV picture in rear of vehicle.
This also allows a TV picture in the rear for the passengers while driving.

Design
- LCD display
- Integrated infrared receiver for remote control
- Sockets for connecting two earphones with separate volume control
- Power supply from TV Tuner (A2/42)

Function
The rear monitor (A40/2) receives RCBS (red/green/blue synchronization) signals from the TV tuner (A2/42) and generates corresponding pictures. The AF sound signals for the earphone outputs are also provided by A2/42. The TV audio signal can always be heard over the earphones regardless of whether or not it is output on the vehicle loudspeaker.
