Remove/Install Water Collector

Lip-type seal (arrow)
Pull out.

Vacuum lines on main element air flap (44)
Pull off.

Slacken 6 screws (3)
Lift air collector unit (2), turn thermal valve for surface heating of wiper system (7) to the left, unclip and pull out temperature sensor (B10/5). (On vehicles with automatic climate control)

Air intake
Cover using special tool (140 589 00 98 00).

Wiper system
Remove. Service and Repair

Rubber mount
Remove, special tool 140 589 00 07 00.

Water collector (4)
Remove (4 screws).









Install
In the reverse sequence, ensuring that the two water drain hoses (10) project without any kinks into the water drainage systems.
