INSTALLATION OF CD CHANGER
1. Remove the left trunk liner panel, route the CD changer prewire harness into the wheel well area, then reinstall the panel.
2. Remove the protective caps from the two (2) studs on the floor of the wheel well. Install the CD changer bottom bracket over the studs and install two (2) M6 nuts finger tight (Figure 1).
3. Remove shipping screws from changer. Set orientation to V (vertical) and lock in place using adhesive covers. Remove spacer plates from CD changer (if present).
4. Install two (2) # 12 sheet metal screws through the holes in the vertical surface of the bracket into the clips in the trunk floor rail. Tighten all fasteners.
5. Secure CD changer into basket using four (4) M4 x 5 machine screws (Figure 2). Ensure proper orientation of lettering on door.
6. Connect harness connector to changer.
7. Secure the basket portion of the bracket to the bottom bracket using four (4) M5 x 6 screws.
8. Insert magazine. Test CD function.
