Condenser Fan Resistor: Description and Operation

The auxiliary fan preresistor serves for switching the auxiliary fans (M4m1, M4m2).

The auxiliary fans are controlled by the pushbutton control module, the auxiliary fan relay and auxiliary fan preresistor. All models with air conditioning are equipped with two auxiliary fans. The current consumption is 25 A at a battery voltage of 13 V in stage 2. The auxiliary fans are fused with fuse (F2-13), 30 A.
