Removing, Installing, Disassembling and Assembling Secondary Pump







Lower slightly at rear by removing and installing rear engine mount Detach and attach exhaust system at rear.

Unscrew, screw on, Nut of axial bracket (44) .

Unscrew, screw in Hexagon socket bolts (45) and take off secondary pump (20), 8 Nm.

Remove, install, O-ring (18) and intermediate plate (19)

Remove Pump gears (22, 23) from housing. When installing, lubricate and insert in grooves.

Remove Cover (27) after retaining ring has been removed (28).

Pressure spring (24), spring plate (25), cut-off piston (21) Take out pump housing (20), check O-ring (29) and Teflon rings (30, 31), replace if necessary.

Disassembly and Assembly:






1. Remove pump gears from housing.

2. Take off retaining ring (28) and cover (27).


Installation Instruction:






Lubricate pump gears (22) and (23) and insert into pump housing. Insert driving pump gear (22) in such a way that drivers (arrow) are facing upwards.






3. Remove cutoff piston (21) and pressure spring (24) together with spring plate (25) from pump housing.

4. Remove O-ring (29).






5. Examine all parts for signs of damage and wear. The joint of the two Teflon rings (30, 31) must be completely together; insert Teflon rings into the grooves with a little grease, if necessary.
