Fluid Pump: Service and Repair

NOTE: On vehicles produced prior to 6/96 a secondary pump is used, after 6/96 a cover is placed where the pump was located.

Removal and Installation





1 Unscrew nut tor axial retainer (44).
2 Unscrew hexagon socket bolts (45) and remove cover.

Installation Note
The slot (arrow) in the axial retainer (43) must be horizontal.

The bores in the transmission housing for the secondary pump are sealed off by means of a cover (17) and gasket (18).
