DATE: February 1995
SUBJECT:
MODEL 202
DECEMBER 1994 PRODUCTION RUNNING CHANGES
As of December 1994 production, several running changes were made to model 202.
Note:
Please make a copy of this bulletin available to the Sales department of your dealership.
^ The front and rear fuse boxes were changed.
They are both larger in size and the fuse arrangement in both was changed. Therefore, there are two new fuse designation cards for model 202 as of 12/94; 202 545 13 00 for the front fuse box and 202 545 16 00 for the rear fuse box.
Note:
A supplement to the Model 202 ETM is scheduled for a February mailing. This supplement includes new/updated diagrams as they are affected by the new fuse boxes. The old and new style fuse boxes are not interchangeable.
^ The function of the dome lamps has changed.
The front and rear dome lamps now fade to off after the normal time delay (approximately 20 - 30 seconds, similar to model 140).
The front and rear dome lamps will automatically turn off approximately ten minutes after leaving a door open, to conserve battery power.
^ The outside rearview mirror covers now include an airfoil at the inside bottom edge, against the door frame, in order to reduce wind noise.
^ Michelin MXV4 all-season tires were introduced into production, in addition to the current Continental ContiTouringcontact CH95.
Owners of these vehicles should be advised of these changes (particularly that of the dome lamps), as the current owner's manual does not yet reflect these enhancements.
