PURPOSE
The EGR valve controls the flow of gases from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold.

OPERATION
The valve is operated by the control pressure in the vacuum hose from the E.G.R. Switchover Valve.

LOCATION
The EGR Valve is attached to an exhaust manifold on each cylinder bank.
