EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The LH control units control exhaust gas recirculation via the EGR switchover valves (Y27/2 and Y27/3). Each switchover valve connects the EGR valve to vacuum from the throttle valve assembly.

OPERATION
When the LH control unit energizes the switchover valve, the valve opens and vacuum reaches the EGR valve.
