Remove/Install Rear Head Restraint Mechanism

Preliminary work:
Rear seat and rear backrest removed. Refer to "Replacement of Rear Seat and Rear Backrest". Service and Repair





Head restraints (1 and 2)
remove by pressing arresting levers (arrows, figure 2).
Head restraint mechanism
unlock and fold down (arrow, figure 3).
Head restraint mechanism on backrest frame
screw off, observe different screw lengths when installing (arrows, figure 4, 8 Nm).
Before installing head restraint mechanism (3 and 4)
insert clip nut M6 (2 each) on backrest frame (arrows, figure 5).
Reinstall in opposite order.
