Remove/Install Head Restraint Guides on Front Seats

Preliminary work:
Head restraint removed.
Tensioner on driver's backrest removed. Refer to "Replacement of Rear Panel on Front Seats Backrest". Service and Repair

















Rivet head on lower guide rail (arrows)
drill out, or separate with chisel.
Flexible shaft (3) on gearing system and guide rail (1)
remove (arrows) and lead through retaining clip (4) of right-hand guide rail (2).
Guide rail (1 and 2)
pull downwards, whilst unhooking at upper backrest frame and remove.
Reinstall
in opposite order, whilst inserting locking bolt in guide rail (1 and 2) on upper backrest frame and securing at base with pop rivet (dia. 4 mm).
