B. Side Skirts For Sedan (Model 202)

Preparation





1. Remove molding from front fender (A, Figure 8) and rear wheel opening (B) by carefully levering with plastic wedge (110 589 03 59 00).

2. Using plastic wedge, remove molding from retaining clips and snap fasteners on rocker panel.

3. Remove cover grommets from underside of vehicle (C, Figure 8).

4. Remove jacking point covers





5. Pull lower molding (Figure 9) off lower edge of door. Remove retaining clips from lower door edge.

Installation

6. Insert retaining straps for jack point covers.





7. Press in AMG snap fasteners in door opening and on underside of vehicle (Figure 10).

8. Press in mounting hardware for wheel opening and fender area, remove backing from adhesive strip and press on side skirts.

9. Secure side skirts in door opening and vehicle floor area with the mounting hardware provided. (Anchor rivets with Phillips head screws.)

10. Cover screw heads in door opening with self adhesive film provided.
Clean mounting surface, pull off backing and apply self-adhesive film.





11. Press retaining clips into lower edge of door. Snap in AMG lower edge molding (Figure 11).
