EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The LH control module controls exhaust gas recirculation via the EGR switchover valve (Y27). The switchover valve connects the EGR valve to vacuum from the throttle valve assembly.

OPERATION
When the LH control module energizes the switchover valve, the valve opens and vacuum reaches the EGR valve.
