Shift Solenoid: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The upshift delay switchover valve (Y3/3) controls the vacuum to the control pressure cable element.

OPERATION
The LH control module controls the switchover valve. When the valve is energized, manifold vacuum reaches the pressure cable vacuum element and delays the transmission upshift point.
