Effective Serial Number

As of February 1991, a cover for the two-piece radio receiver/amplifier (located in the cargo area) is installed in the above-listed models. This cover should be installed in vehicles equipped with two-piece radios prior to the effective serial number shown during the vehicle's next scheduled maintenance or repair.

The cover is designed to prevent windshield washer fluid from spilling on the receiver/amplifier when filling the washer fluid reservoir.

Procedure

1. Remove panel on right side of cargo area.





2. Place cover (1) over receiver/amplifier and engage onto longitudinal frame rail.

3. Reinstall cargo area panel.
