Installing Handset1. Remove carpeting from center console.
2. Place reinforcing plate on back of carpeting so that the two outer alignment tabs (arrows, Fig. 11) fit over the plastic tabs.
3. Locate, punch and drill four 5 mm holes using the reinforcement plate as a template.
4. Secure plate, carpeting and cradle with four screws.
5. Drill two 6 mm holes through the alignment tabs.
6. Mount a clip nut on each of the alignment holes on the underside of the center console (arrows). Connect harness connector to cradle.
7. Place handset/cradle assembly in center console engaging the lip at front. Ensure that cables are routed away from screw holes and fasten with two screws (arrows. Fig. 12).
