With Rear A/C
Installing Handset1. Open armrest and place template inside compartment.
2. Gently punch two holes using an awl and create two slots using a flat head screwdriver (Fig. 13).
3. Carefully cut out a rectangular opening in the rear of the console using a utility knife. CAUTION! Do not cut into harness. Remove template. Pull harness connector through rectangular opening (arrow, Fig. 14).
4. Route cable and connector through slot in bracket.
5. Secure cradle to bracket from underneath using four screws (arrows, Fig. 15).
6. Connect harness connector to cradle connector.
7. Attach cradle connector to bracket using two-sided tape. Route wires as indicated on label on underside of bracket. Secure wires to bracket with polyester tape.
8. Place cradle/bracket assembly in armrest compartment and secure with two sheet metal screws (arrows, Fig. 16). Ensure that cable is not pinched underneath cradle bracket.
