Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

Idle Control Valve And Fuel Pressure Regulator:

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect the NEG. battery terminal and insulate.

WARNING: High pressure fuel may be released.

3. Disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet at the fuel pressure regulator. Catch escaping fuel with a cloth.
4. Remove fuel injector lines as necessary.
5. Remove the mounting screws for the fuel pressure regulator and lift out the fuel pressure regulator.
6. Install in reverse manner.
7. Run the engine and check for fuel leaks.
