Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect starter electrical connectors.
3. Loosen starter to transmission attaching bolts.
4. Turn steering wheel in clockwise direction.
5. Remove starter attaching bolts, then remove in downward direction.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque starter attaching screws to 41 ft. lbs
