NOTE: Test should be conducted with engine at normal operating temperature.

Fig. 57 70 Degree C Thermovalve:

1. Remove the vacuum lines from the 70°C (160°F) thermovalve.
2. Install a vacuum pump to the angled port (B) and a vacuum gauge to the straight port (A) of the thermovalve. Draw a vacuum with the pump.

^ Vacuum should be indicated on the gauge. If not, replace the thermovalve.
