Compressor Clutch Coil: Service and Repair

Tightening Torques

Screw carrier to cylinder head M 1O x 30 30 ± 3.0 Nm

Screw compressor to holder M 8 x 90 2O ± 2.5 Nm

Nut M 8 to compressor shaft 16 ± 1.0 Nm

c) Magnetic Coil

Attention! Refrigerant system remains filled.

Removal

1 Remove V-belt. Service and Repair

2 Remove spring plate and V-belt pulley. Service and Repair

3 Remove locking ring in front of magnetic coil and remove coil.

Installation

Attention! Tapered surface of locking rings should be front end.





7 Mount magnetic coil (fitted pin) and install locking ring (arrow).

8 Install V-belt pulley. Service and Repair

9 Place spacing washer on compressor shaft and mount spring plate. Service and Repair

10 Install refrigerant compressor, V-belt and tensioning roller. Service and Repair

11 Check air-conditioning system for function.
