A. Vehicles With Small Auxiliary Fan

Removing







1 Disconnect 2-pole connector (arrow).







2 Release both cable straps (arrows) on condenser.







3 Unscrew screws (100) on radiator supporting frame. Pull holder (arrow) slightly forwards and remove cable of auxiliary fan towards the front.
4 Unscrew screws (102) on auxiliary fan and remove auxiliary fan towards the front.
5 Unclip protective grille (104) from auxiliary fan.


Installing

Install in the reverse sequence.







6 Check function of auxiliary fan by switching on ignition and bridging both connections from pressure switch (S32), but do not separate connections of pressure switch and cable harness.







7 Check direction of rotation of auxiliary fan. Fan rotates clockwise. If direction of rotation is wrong, reverse jacks in 2-pole connector (arrow).
