Fuel Injection Lines Break

07.1-85071 Fuel Injection Lines Break Engine 601 7/85

Cause:
The plastic clips (68 and 68a) are incorrectly installed.





Remedy:
Install plastic clips (65 and 68a) as close as possible to the radius of the fuel injection lines (arrows) and the plastic clips (70 and 71) must be snapped into place securely.

Improved Plastic cups, part no. 601 078 26 41, (version B) are installed in production since January 1985.

Tighten coupling nuts of injection lines to 10-20 Nm.
