Since April 1984, the oil pan is filled with 6.5 liters (6.9 quarts) of oil. The maximum mark on the dipstick has been changed accordingly and the handle is now light brown (previously white).

B. Modified Engine Off Dipstick, Engine 601 Model 201.122

Since May 1984, dipsticks with plastic tabs indicating the maximum and minimum engine oil levels have been installed. The modified dipstick can be used in previous 601 engines.

NOTE: The new dipstick is not yet available as a replacement part. Stock of the previous dipstick should be used up.

IMPORTANT: Engine oil capacity has not changed.
