B. Vehicles With Large Auxiliary Fan
Removing
8 Disconnect 2-pole connector (arrow).
9 Disconnect both horns and remove strut (104).
10 Release radiator and condenser by unclipping clamps (99 and 111). Pull radiator and condenser out of lower holder and move as far as possible towards the engine.

The hoses on the radiator and condenser remain connected.
11 Release both cable straps (arrows) on condenser.
12 Unscrew screw (112) and remove holder (113).
13 Remove auxiliary fan by moving first to the right and then towards the front.
14 Unclip protective grille (114) from auxiliary fan and remove lower holder.
Installing
15 Pull rubber mount from lower holder of auxiliary fan and wrap approx. 5 layers of insulating tape around the pin (arrow). Then push rubber mount onto holder.
NOTE: The insulating tape is intended to prevent the rubber mount dropping off when the auxiliary fan is fitted.
16 Insert auxiliary fan and push rubber mount into holder on cross member (arrow).
17 Continue installation in the reverse sequence.
18 Check function of auxiliary fan by switching on ignition and bridging both connections of pressure switch (S32), but do not separate connections of pressure switch and cable harness.
19 Check direction of rotation of auxiliary fan. Fan rotates clockwise. If direction of rotation is wrong, reverse jacks in 2-pole connector (arrow).
