Remove/Install Dual Heating Water Valve
Dual Heating Water Valve
Removal
1 Drain coolant.
2 Remove ABS control unit.
3 Disconnect battery terminals.
4 Loosen cable strap (see arrow) and disconnect electrical plug connection.
5 Loosen protective strip (61) on bracing wall right as far as necessary and lift positive cable of battery upward out of bracing wall.
6 Unscrew screws (62 and 63) and lift off bracing wall.
7 Loosen hose straps (64) and detach heating water hoses.
8 Disconnect 4-pole coupling (65) from dual heating water valve.
With glass heater, loosen hose clamp (arrow) on bypass hose and pull off hose.
9 Remove bolts (66) and lift dual heating water valve (8) off bracket (67).
10 Remove bypass hose from dual heating water valve (8).
Installation
11 Connect bypass hose to dual heating water valve and fasten with hose strap.
12 Screw-dual heating water valve (8) to holder (67) with screws (66).
13 Plug 4-pole coupler to dual heating water valve (8).
14 Plug heating water hoses to dual heating water valve (8) and fasten with hose straps (64).
With glass heater, plug-on bypass hose and fasten with hose strap.
15 Mount stiffening wall with screws (62 and 63).
16 Attach positive cable to stiffening wall and mount protective strip (61).
17 Connect electric plug and mount with cable strap (refer to arrow) to stiffening wall.
18 Connect battery.
19 Install ABS control unit.
20 Fill in coolant and check cooling system for leaks.
21 Check automatic heater for function.
