Complaint:
ESP cannot be reactivated by pressing the "ESP OFF" button once.
To reactivate the ESP, the "ESP OFF" button must be pressed twice.
Cause:
Incorrect variant coding of upper control panel (UCP)
Remedy:
Check variant coding in UCP:
1. Access the body module "UCP - upper control panel"
2. Continue in UCP to item "Initial startup"
3. Perform "Initial startup with manual setting of new control unit"
4. Continue with item "GS engine variants"
5. Press button "F2" to start procedure.
6. When selecting the engine, specific menu item "M273" (even if an M113 is installed in the G55 AMG)
7. Initial startup was completed
