Resetting the FSS Assyst Service IndicatorPreliminary Procedures:
- Close trunk lid or liftgate as well as engine hood and doors.
1. Insert ignition key and turn to position "2".
NOTE: The next step must be completed within 4 seconds before the instrument cluster completes an initiation cycle.
2. Immediately press and release the trip-odometer reset button two times. The service wrench symbol will now begin blinking and the display for the service request is now activated for a timed single interval of approx. 10 seconds or less.
NOTE: It is critical that the next step be completed before the service wrench symbol blinks for a third time and before the system makes an audible beep.
3. Turn ignition key to position "0" (The service request conintues to be displayed), press and hold trip-odometer reset button, turn ignition key to position "2".
4. Continue to hold the trip-odometer reset button until an audible beep signals and the new service mileage interval appears in the display.
