1 Use a socket wrench bit to unscrew the screw cap (2) and remove it along with the oil filter element (4).
2 Undo the oil filter element (4) from the screw cap (2) by knocking on the center rod briefly.

Use a suitable container for this.

3 Replace compression ring (3).
4 Push new oil filter element (4) onto screw cap (2).
5 Screw on the screw cap (2) using the socket wrench bit.
