Convenience Feature, Function

The convenience feature allows the driver to operate the electric seat adjustment even when the ignition is switched off. To achieve this the all-activity module (AAM, N10) is switched to the corresponding consumers via relay 1 (F2k1), circuit 30.

Prerequisites for convenience feature
The convenience feature is active in the following cases:
Circuit 15c ON or
one front door open

It switches off:
30 minutes after switching on or when the driver's door is opened and both front doors are dosed again after circuit 15c is switched OFF.


NOTE:
Switch-on condition for circuit 15c
When the remote control key is inserted into the ignition lock, circuit 15c switches on when the key is turned from the zero position. Circuit 15c switches off again when the remote control key is removed from the ignition lock.
