Central Locking (CL), Function

The central locking is controlled with the RF remote control in the remote control key or with the central locking switch (S21s10).
When a door is opened from the inside, only the affected door, not entire vehicle is unlocked.
When the vehicle is put into motion, it is locked by the automatic locking feature.

Confirmation via turn signals (as of 12.99)
When the vehicle is properly locked or unlocked with the remote control key, the operation is confirmed by the turn signal lamps.

Emergency unlocking
In the event of an accident in which an airbag or emergency tensioning retractor is triggered, the vehicle is unlocked by the emergency unlocking function.

NOTE: Only the driver's door can be unlocked with the mechanical key, whereby the central locking is not unlocked.
