Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5]

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Remove the charcoal canister protector.






4. Remove the CV solenoid valve. Service and Repair

5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Charcoal Canister Removal Note

1. Remove the charcoal canister bracket fitting nuts.

2. Put the charcoal canister bracket out of the way of work.

3. Remove the charcoal canister.

Charcoal Canister Bracket Installation Note

1. Insert the charcoal canister completely into the bracket.






2. Install the charcoal canister as shown in the figure.
